What the client wanted
We had refurbished this client's apartment above her salon the year before, and she was delighted with the result. So when she wanted the salon refurbished too, she came straight back to us, a testament to the trusted relationship we had built the first time round. She wanted a stylish, modern space her staff and customers would love.
What we did
We refurbished the salon throughout. We built new partition walls to reshape the space, designed and built a bespoke reception counter to order, carried out the full electrical installation, added a new staff kitchen and toilets, tiled throughout, completed high standard decoration, and fitted a new shop front.
Challenges we overcame
The salon had to close while we worked, so the timeframe mattered. We were also on a busy high street with no parking. We planned the works tightly around both and kept the job moving.
The Outcome
A trendier, more stylish place to work. Staff morale has lifted, loyal clients love the new look, and the refurbishment has drawn in a wave of new customers. The client and her staff were over the moon with the result.
